The Andersons began its fertilizer business here in Maumee, Ohio, in 1959. This facility formulates, stores, and distributes a broad line of products, both liquid and dry. This facility is ISO 9001:2000 certified for its liquid products. The Andersons also operates a large grain terminal at this location.
A new product available at Maumee is our SEASON PASS® with AVAIL® low salt row starter. This product gives you the ability to apply a high quality starter directly on the seed of the corn plant in a low volume rate with a non-corrosive material. SEASON PASS® with AVAIL® increases the potential for more phosphorus to be absorbed by the plants' root system and can help maximize yields.
