TSP - Triple Super Phosphate

"Superphosphate is a product obtained when rock phosphate is treated with either sulfuric acid or phosphoric acid or a mixture of these acids.  The guaranteed percentage of available phosphate shall be stated as part of the name." (AAPFCO)

 

Triple superphosphate is commonly made by acidulation of natural phosphatic material primarily with phosphoric acid.  It usually contains 45% - 48% available P2O5.
