The Plant Nutrient Group

The Plant Nutrient Group is one of five operating groups of The Andersons and operates wholesale and retail facilities in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Florida, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Puerto Rico.  These facilities service about 2 million tons of dry and liquid agricultural nutrients annually, through warehousing/distribution, formulation, and custom application.  The group also formulates low corrosive anti-icers, nitrogen reagents for air pollution control systems, water treatment for irrigation systems, and dust abatement products.

The Andersons, Inc.

The Andersons, Inc. is a diversified company with interests in the grain, ethanol and plant nutrient sectors of U.S. agriculture, as well as in railcar leasing and repair, turf products production, and general merchandise retailing.  Founded in Maumee, Ohio, in 1947, the company now has operations across the United States, in Puerto Rico, and has rail equipment leasing interests in Canada and Mexico.
